The National Potbellied Pig Registry(NPPR) merged with the International Potbellied Pig Registry in 2006, giving one central location for all purebred potbellied pig registrations. Because NPPR is the only registry having access to accurate, historical potbellied pig lineage records, it is the only recognized United States registry to provide accurate litter and permanent registrations for pure bred Potbellied Pigs. NPPR accepts litter applications, permanent registration papers and ownership transfers from Gold Star, PPRSI, NCOPP, and INPPR potbelly pig registries. Following the guidelines of NPPR, it also offers pet registrations for previously unregistered pet Potbelly Pigs.

NPPR provides the ease of an online database and fee payment method. On its web site, it also offers accurate potbellied pig information and resource links.
