NAPPA was organized specifically to preserve and protect the potbellied pig breed, with an emphasis on education. The activities of NAPPA are guided by the input, contributions, and energy of its members and directors. Membership in NAPPA is open to anyone interested in potbellied pigs, whether breeders, pet owners, potential pet owners, or just friends.
The NAPPA News: an informative bi-monthly newsletter that features topics such as health, nutrition, and behavior of the potbellied pig.
Educational brochures: NAPPA offers a series of thirteen educational brochures on such topics as "Choosing the Right Potbellied Pig Breeder," "Veterinary Care," and "Tips on Nutrition."

NAPPA is a Non Profit organization that relies on public support. Support can be in the form of a monetary donation to the memorial, education, or shelter fund. Or, if you would prefer the hands on approach, please contact a NAPPA certified shelter in your area to donate your time. NAPPA can also use members for various committees interested in helping us with ideas to better the potbellied pig community.
